Haitian Flag Day
May 17, 2023
Fun! Fun! Fun! After weeks of preparation and practice, we celebrated Haitian Flag Day in style. On May 17th we gathered the students in the school yard for a mini parade. They proudly raised their flags and sang patriotic songs. We finished it off with some refreshments. What a great day!
**P.S. Haitian Flag Day is celebrated on May 18 but in Haiti it’s a national holiday and schools are closed.
